It is with deep sadness, that we inform you of the passing of Victor Shalom Katz z”l, uncle of Schara Tzedeck member Jeremiah (Marni )Katz.

Victor passed this Shabbat, a week away from his 78th birthday, in New York City, with family by his side. Victor was a kind and gentle soul who never uttered a bad word against anyone. He lived his whole life in the Chasidic community of Boro Park and was regarded and beloved as a tzaddik by that community.

Victor’s funeral and shiva will take place in the circle of his New York community.

Our condolences to his brothers Andy and Eli; sister-in-law Roma; nephews Jeremiah (Marni), Davis, Daniel and Ben; niece Tali; great-nephews and great-nieces Avi, Oliver, Rubi, Tori, Lilly and Aimee.
