Sad News – Dr. Arthur Hayes z’l

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Schara Tzedeck member, Dr. Arthur Hayes z”l.

We send our heartfelt condolences to his children, Jeffrey (Sonia), Jacquelyn (Paul Watson), and Lianne; and to his grandchildren, Jenna, Josh, and Noah Hayes; Amanda Michaelson (Daniel) and David Watson; and Tara, Lindsay and Matthew Peretz.

The funeral will take place today, Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Beth Israel Cemetery (1721 Willingdon Ave, Burnaby, BC). Masks are strongly requested for the indoor ceremony.

Shiva will be held at the home of Dr. Arthur Hayes z”l in Vancouver at 7:15 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings. Please do not arrive before 7:00 for Shiva visitations.
