  1. A humble, generous and intellectual soul was lost with Marc’s passing. I wish there are more Marcs in this world. He had a life-long passion for continued learning and when with him, there is no need for a google search. Words could not describe how being Marc’s friend has enriched my life. It was not because we had a lot of things in common but it was the contrary; Our long friendship was based on mutual respect which celebrated our differences.

  2. To know Marc was to love Marc: such boundless kindness, such endless generosity, such extraordinary insight, and always, always, gentle love. Marc was an unassuming man who had a prodigious appetite for reading, and more than anything, he ALWAYS had time to do for others, especially his nieces and nephews. He was funny, and serious, charming and mellow, friendly and respectful, learned and straightforward. And a proud geek. He loved his family, friends, books, Star Wars, games, and good humor. He was sweet. He was a true gentleman. Oh Marc, you taught us all so much by the way you just carried on… Your light burns bright. You were quick to praise and slow to angry. You knew how to comfort others. You never made a huge fuss. You are missed beyond words.
