Sad News – Rochelle Moss z’l
It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Beth Israel member Rochelle Moss z’l on April 23, 2024.
Left to mourn her loss are her children Beverly (Rob) Armstrong, Larry Moss, Jeff (Lainie) Moss; grandchildren Jayson and Matthew Armstrong, Danielle (Logan) Feldman, Jordan, Shawn, Leyah, Zack, and Brendan Moss. Rochelle was also lucky to be loved by her extended family including Lynn Moss, Miles and Michelle Alperstein, Loren and Matty Khalifa, and Kevin and Sandy Alperstein and their families, along with her many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Rochelle was predeceased by her former husband Alvin Moss z’l and her long-time partner Sidney Alperstein z’l.
Rochelle’s preference for donations in her memory were that they be made to JNF Canada or The Louis Brier Foundation.
The funeral will be held at Schara Tzedek Cemetery on Sunday April 28th at 11:00 am. Meal of condolence to follow at Beth Israel Synagogue. The funeral will be live streamed at www.cemeteryboard.com/view-a-
Shiva minyan will be held after the conclusion of Passover on Wednesday May 1 and Thursday May 2 at 7:30 pm at the home of Jeff and Lainie Moss in Vancouver.
