Sad News – Linda Freedman Katz z’l
It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Linda Freedman Katz, wife of Temple Sholom member Robert (Robbie) Katz and mother of member Jody Freedman, on Thursday May 9, 2019 in Penticton, BC.
We send our heartfelt condolences to Linda’s husband, Robbie, her children, Jody (Robin), Kerry (Laura), Brent (Robin) Freedman, and Sarah Clarke, and her 5 grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Sunday May 12, 2019 at 1:00 pm, at the Temple Sholom Cemetery (14965 – 28th Ave, White Rock/South Surrey, BC).

It is with my greatest sorrow that I lost such a wonderful best friend. My heart is broken with her loss. I can only imagine the grief that Robbie is going through, along with Linda’s wonderful family. Her life has touched all of us in a remarkable way. Linda’s legacy will live with us from fond memories to her unique creativity. I know that Linda will meet up with my wife ,Linda, a very special friend of Robbie’s Linda, for that glass of wine, and sharing their special moments of catching up and having wonderful laughter together. REST IN PEACE, Linda, we all love you.
