Sad News – Jacqueline Levitan z’l
It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Or Shalom member Jacqueline Levitan z”l (Hasha Dvora bat Avraham v’Basha) on March 15, 2024.
Jackie is survived by her life partner Kevin Joseph O’Leary and by her sister and brother-in-law Eileen Michelle Tenn and Joe Tenn. Also mourning Jackie are her brother-in-law David O’Leary and her sister-in-law Stephanie Johnson. She will be missed by nieces and nephews Shoshana (Tenn) Lau (Hao Lau), Stephen Tenn (Sharmi Tenn), Browin Keddis and Liam O’Leary, and by her great niece and nephews Zora and Darius Lau and Milan Tenn.
The funeral took place in the Or Shalom sanctuary on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 11:00 am, followed by burial in the Or Shalom section of Mountain View Cemetery (along Fraser Street just south of 33rd Avenue, with a small cemetery entrance at the SW corner Fraser and 33rd Avenue). Street parking is advised.
Shiva minyan was in the Or Shalom sanctuary on Sunday March 17 at 7:30p pm. This gathering will include reminiscences and time to visit.
