My husband, Juergen Hansen, a plant virologist at the Summerland Research Station in Summerland, BC.,
thought very highly of Marvin as a scientist and as a cooperative, encouraging research station director in Vancouver.

I had the pleasure of meeting Marvin at a fellow scientist’s home in Vancouver, and then he and his wife came for an afternoon tea in our Summerland home. They were both such gracious, interesting guests.

The family can be very proud of these two exceptionally fine people.
