Sad News – Donald Hendin z’l
It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Donald Hendin (92), husband of Temple Sholom member Gloria Hendin, on May 31, 2019.
Donald is survived by his wife Gloria; their sons; Perry (Merrill) Hendin, Michael (Stephanie) Hendin and Howard Hendin and their grandchildren, Sophie, Ariel, Loren, Lavi, Yonah & Maya.
Donald was pre-deceased by his brothers, Dave & Sid Hendin.
A funeral service will be held Monday, June 3, 2019, at 10:00 am at Temple Sholom (7190 Oak Street, Vancouver BC) followed by interment at the Temple Sholom Cemetery (14965 – 28th Ave, White Rock/South Surrey, BC).
We will drive in procession from the Temple to the cemetery in White Rock. Those not wishing to drive may remain at the temple till the family returns for the meal of condolence.
Family with receive mourners for the meal of condolence at Temple Sholom following the interment (approximately 1:00pm).
Shiva Minyanim:
Monday, June 3, 2019, 2:30pm (approximately) at Temple Sholom. (following meal of condolence)
Tuesday and Wednesday 6:30pm at Temple Sholom (7190 Oak Street, Vancouver BC).
Mourners may arrive as early as 6:00pm to sit with the family.

It is with deep sadness and heartfelt sympathy that I write to you this evening. I am so sorry to hear that cousin Donnie has passed.
