Sad News – Yoram Hessel z’l
It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Yoram Hessel z’l, father of our Schara Tzedeck member Roy Hessel.
Our heartfelt condolences to Yoram’s wife Shalva, his children Roy (Katia) and Michael (Lucia), his grandchildren Isaiah, Isaac, Liam, Eliya, Daniella and Talia.
The funeral took place in Israel on Sunday, December 23rd, 2018. Shiva took place in Tel Aviv, Israel
As the funeral and shiva for Yoram Hessel z’l took place in Israel, a Memorial Evening for Yoram Hessel z’l will be held on Thursday January 31, 2019 at 8:00 pm at Schara Tzedeck.
Yoram’s son, Roy Hessel, will share his eulogy for his father, and Rabbi Rosenblatt has prepared a session of Torah study in memory of Yoram z’l.
We again extend our sincere condolences to the entire family – to Yoram’s wife, Shalva Hessel, to Roy and Katia, and their children, Liam, Eliya, Daniella and Talia, and to Michael and Lucia Hessel of Geneva and their children, Isaiah and Isaac.
We note that Yoram was a dedicated servant of the state of Israel and was recognized by Prime Minister Netanyahu. Details of his service will be shared throughout the course of the Memorial Evening.
