Sad News – Veronica Rosen z’l

On Monday, May 6, 2019, in her seventy-third year. Beloved wife of Harold for fifty-two years. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Allan and Eva Rosen, Cheryl and Jeff Puterman, and Jeffrey Rosen. Devoted and loving Nana of Yisroel-Meir, Naomi, Aaron Leib, and Basya; Shira, and Dalia. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Gary and Judy Fleischer; and sister-in-law of Doreen and Marv Fajertag. Daughter of the late Tibor and the late Elisabeth Fleischer.

Veronica will be lovingly remembered by her husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends. Special thanks to her caregivers, Maria and Felly, for their devotion, and to the staff of the Jewish Eldercare Centre and Jewish General Hospital for their care.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, May 8 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Montreal Workers’ Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 2215 rue Goyer through Tuesday morning, May 14.

Schacharis services at 7:30 a.m., and Mincha/Maariv services at 8:00 p.m. daily.
