Sad News – Vera Rozen z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Temple Sholom member Vera Rozen, wife of member Bernard Rozen, and mother of members Tom Winkler and Philip Winkler.

Vera was predeceased by her parents, Rosa and Eliezer Rostas z”l, and her son, Peter Winkler z”l.

We send our heartfelt condolences to Vera’s husband, Bernard Rozen, her children, Tom Winkler (Caren Parel), and Philip Winkler (Liane), stepchildren, Ron Rozen (Lucie Levy-Spack) and Dror Rozen, grandchildren, Jordan Winkler, Alexandra Perel-Winkler, Oliver Perel-Winkler, Tarryn Winkler, and Devon Winkler, step grandchildren, Michael Rozen, Daniel Rozen (Joanne), Carine Rozen, Noahm Rozen, and Maror Rozen, great-grandchild, Leto, and step great-grandchildren, Yitzhak, Elisheva, and Aryeh.

The funeral will be held tomorrow, Friday June 7, 2019, at 1:00 pm at the Schara Tzedeck Cemetery (2345 Marine Dr, New Westminster).

The family with receive mourners for the meal of condolence at Temple Sholom (7190 Oak St, Vancouver) following the interment (approximately 2:30 pm).

They will also gather at Temple Sholom on Tuesday June 11, 2019 at 7:00 pm.
