Sad News – Toto Rivera z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Toto (Abelardo) Rivera z’l, after a brave two year battle with cancer.

Toto was an integral part of the Schara Tzedeck family for over 17 years from 2001-2018. He was a happy familiar face that many of us had the pleasure of seeing at weekly Kiddush and throughout the High Holidays. He took his work as custodian very seriously and always came to the Shul ready to work hard. He will be deeply missed by many of us.

We send our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Jeany, and their daughter Erica, and to his children Danielle and Dindo in the Philippines.
