Sad News – Thomas Joseph Brewer z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Thomas Joseph Brewer z”l, father of Beth Israel member Paul Brewer, on December 30, 2023.

We send our heartfelt condolences to Paul, his wife Adele Lewin and their children, Jenna and Shayla. Thomas is survived by his wife Joan of 68 years; sons; Daniel, David, Donald, daughters; Dianna, Maureen, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The funeral was held on January 5, 2024 in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Shloshim will be held on February 4, 2024 at 6:00 pm at Congregation Beth Israel (989 West 28th Avenue, Vancouver, BC).
