Sad News – Margot Azoulai z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Margot Azoulai (née Hallac) z”l, mother of Or Shalom member Claudie Azoulai, on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at the age of 98.

Wife of the late Maurice Azoulai. Beloved mother of Claudie Azoulai and mother-in-law of Gary Snarch. Mother and Mother-in-law of Maryse and Henri Ouaknine. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Albert and Carol Hallac, the late Sheila and the late Maurice Schouela, the late Loulou and the late Raymond Somekh. Cherished “Gago” of Stephan Ouaknine,

Margot was buried in Montreal. Claudie and her sister are sitting shiva there.
