It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of Tessy Canavan (née Rodunusky) z”l, on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver. Tessy was born and passed at St. Paul’s on April 3rd. It was her 71st Birthday when she passed.

Tessy was a compassionate woman always caring for others before herself. She was a social worker whose focus was street youth, an amazing mother and friend to so many. Her love of animals is reflected in her work with rescue dogs and cats. She was a Righteous Woman who will be loved and missed by so many.

We send our heartfelt condolences to her husband, John Canavan, son, Ashley Canavan and her daughter Melissa Canavan. Her brother  Sidney Rodnunsky sister Reva Kalef (née Rodnunsky).

The funeral took place on, Friday, April 5, 2024, at 12:00 pm at the Schara Tzedeck Cemetery (16656 60 Ave, Surrey, BC).
