Sad News – Russell Remick z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Russell Remick, father of Temple Sholom member Ron Remick and father-in-law of Judy Remick on June 10, 2020, at the age of 96.

Russell was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Betty Remick z”l.

He is survived by his son, Dr. Ronald Remick (Judy), daughters, Carole Levine (Marty), Kathy Lenox (Larry) and Susan Topek (Rabbi Joseph).

He was the proud grandfather of Jessica Firestone (Andrew), Josh Remick (Amy), Daniel Remick (Abby), Ben Levine (Michelle), Noah Levine (Renee), Seth Levine (Stacey), Garrett Lenox and Dylan Lenox, Leah Topek Walker (Dan), Sara Spronz (Eric) and Chana Diamond (Josh).

He was the even prouder great-grandfather of 18 great-grandchildren, Rebecca and Molly Firestone, Brady and Olivia Remick, Elliana and Lilah Remick, Joey Levine, Asa and Hattie Levine, Dahlia, Oren and Asher Levine, Owen and Wyatt Walker, Zev Spronz, Zoey, Isaac and Max Diamond!

The funeral will be held in Dayton, Ohio on Thursday, June 11, 2020.

The family hopes to be able to gather in Dayton for an unveiling and a reunion when it is safe to travel again.

He was much loved and will be greatly missed.
