Sad News – Rachel Grossman z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Rachel Grossman, z’l mother of Allyson (Jim) Hoy,Cindy Kalmanasch, Mari Sue (Phil) Baga sister of Barney (Hedy) Vinegar grandmother and great grandmother.

The funeral will be held at the Beth Tikvah Cemetery with the availability to attend via Zoom.Thursday, January 14th at 12:00 pm

Rachel, as her children remember, was a wonderful wife, a loving Mother, and a Bubbie that was adored by her 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was the sweetest kindest person who opened her home to everyone. She embraced her family and friends.

She loved to dance, travel, dine and gamble. She loved Chinese food, and loved her ice cream and coke. Especially a Coke float!

Our Mom was a hard working women who worked multiple jobs to support her family and still had a positive outlook on life. Mom always had a wonderful personality, but in her later years she developed this incredible sense of humour.

She always looked at the positive not the negative. Mom spent her her last 5 years at Holyrood Manor andshe built such beautiful connections with all of the staff. They all talked about her sense of humour and how she always had a smile on her face.

She was so loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.
