Sad News – Prof. Harvey Gerber z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Beth Israel member Prof. Harvey Gerber z’l.

We send our sincere condolences to his wife, Jean Gerber and family, Adam Gerber and his wife Annemarie Middleton, Aviva Vaughan and her husband Matthew Vaughan, Hava Salita and her husband David Salita and granddaughter Sheyna Vaughan.

The funeral will be held today, Monday May 27, 2019, at 1:00 pm at the Beth Israel Cemetery (1721 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby).

Shiva will be held from Monday (May 27) – Thursday (May 30) from 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm at the home of Jean Gerber in Vancouver and on Sunday (June 2) at 9:30 am at the Beth Israel Synagogue (989 West 28th Avenue).
