Sad News – Leyla Sacks z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Leyla Sacks, mother of Temple Sholom member David Sacks.

We send our heartfelt condolences to her husband, Abraham (Abe) Sacks, her children, David Sacks (Rhonda), Paula Boddie (John), Neil Sacks (Elaine), and Jeffrey Sacks (Dina), and to her many, many grandchildren and loved ones.

The funeral was held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Schara Tzedeck Cemetery (2345 Marine Dr, New Westminster, BC V3M 6R8).

Shiva wsa observed on Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, and next Monday evenings at 7:00 pm.

The family will have a Shacharit minyan on Thursday, Friday, Sunday, next Monday, and next Tuesday mornings. Both Shiva and Shacharit will take place in the family home in Vancouver, BC.
