Sad News – Lee Alan Kaplan z’l

It is with sadness that we announce the death of Lee Alan Kaplan, brother of Or Shalom member Charles Kaplan, on January 25, 2019 after suffering a massive heart attack.

Lee will be missed by his wife Chrissy Kaplan, his children, Michelle (Jeff), Michael, and Greg (Jessica), by his grandchildren Emma Faye and Charlee, as well as by his brothers, Charles (Laura), Richard, David (Gail), and Jason (Beth). Sadly, Lee also predeceases his father, Ivan Kaplan.

Here in Vancouver, Lee Kaplan is mourned by Charles and Reb Laura Duhan Kaplan, and by their children Hilary and Eli.

Charles and Reb Laura will travel to Pittsburgh for the funeral, returning to Vancouver on Wednesday January 30, 2019.

On Thursday evening, January 31, 2019, Charles and Reb Laura will hold a shiva minyan in their home from 7:30 – 9:00 pm, at which time they welcome our visits. Charles and Reb Laura live in Vancouver (please keep in mind that the Duhan Kaplans keep a kosher home).

We extend our sincere condolences to Lee’s entire family and friends.
