Sad News – Laverne Gelmon z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Beth Israel member, Laverne Gelmon z”l on Friday, January 5, 2024.

She was predeceased by her husband, Abraham Gelmon z”l.

We send our heartfelt condolences to her children, Reesa Gelmon, Debbie Jeroff (Alan) and her granddaughters, Samantha and Abby Jeroff.

The funeral will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 11:30 am at the Beth Israel Cemetery (1721 Willingdon Ave, Burnaby).

Shiva will be held on Sunday and Monday at 7:00 pm at Debbie and Alan’s house in Vancouver.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Louis Brier Jewish Aged Foundation are welcomed.
