Sad News – Judah Shumiatcher z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of Judah Shumiatcher z’l, father of Temple Sholom member Cal Shumiatcher, today, January 22, 2019 at the age of 91.

Judah is survived by his wife, Barbara Shumiatcher, his sister, Clara Blackstone, his sons, Cal Shumiatcher (Ellen) and Michael Shumiatcher, and his granddaughters, Roxanne Legoff and Nina, Rose and Eva Shumiatcher.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday January 24, 2019 at 12:00 pm at the Temple Sholom Cemetery (14965 – 28th Ave., White Rock, BC).

Shiva minyan services will be held at the home of Barbara Shumiatcher in Vancouver on Thursday January 24, 2019 at 3:00 pm and Saturday January 26, 2019 at 7:00 pm.

We send our most heartfelt condolences to the Shumiatcher Family, and Cal’s entire family and friends.
