Sad News – Joseph Segal z’l

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Segal z’l. Joe Segal was a former president of Schara Tzedeck and a longtime member of the Schara Tzedeck cemetery board and of Congregation Schara Tzedeck.

We send our condolences to his wife Rosalie Segal and to his children Sandra and Norman Miller, Tracey and Mark Schonfeld, Gary and Nanci Segal, Lorne and Melita Segal and to his grandchildren Dan Miller (Jen), Ken Miller (Debra), Robert Schonfeld (Amy), Richard Schonfeld (Gina), Jodi Schonfeld z”l, Haley Crooks (Jim), Adam Segal (Gillian), Stephanie Plotkin (Glenn), Justin Segal (Yael), Chanelle Segal, and Mathew Segal.

We also recognize his many great grandchildren Ashlee Montagano, Emily, Jessie , and Maya Miller, Talia Schonfeld, Morrie and Alyssa Schonfeld, Brady, Devon and Cody Miller, Kacey, Dylan and Taya Crooks Leo, Remy and Dash Plotkin, Georgia and Coco Segal.

The funeral will take place Wednesday June 1 at 1:00 pm at the Schara Tzedeck Cemetery in New Westminster.
