Sad News – Joanne Susan Cox z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the unexpected passing of Joanne Susan Cox z”l, sister of Temple Sholom member Eric Shipman, on Sunday April 17, 2022, at the age of 73.

Joanne was predeceased by her parents, Mel and Shirley Shipman z”l in Toronto, Ontario.

She was a former and long time teacher at Vancouver Talmud Torah and the Vancouver School Board.

We send our sincere condolences to her children, Abby Worthington (TK) and Joshua Cox (Michelle), her siblings, Eric (Nini), Lorne, and Esther (Sean), and all of her beloved nieces, nephews, grand-niece, and cousins.

A private funeral was held in Toronto.
