Sad News – Joan Pomerantz z’l
It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Joan Pomerantz z”l, mother of Beth Israel member, Leah Pomerantz.
Joan z”l died peacefully Friday, March 17, 2023, with family by her side, at her home in Welland, Ontario.
The funeral will be held on Sunday, March 19, in St. Catharines, Ontario.
Joan Pomerantz z”l was predeceased by her husband, Aaron Pomerantz, z”l, and her eight siblings, including her dear twin, Jeanie McInnis z”l.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to her children; Jack, Larry (Sharona Kaminker), and Leah (Mark Gurvis), and to her grandchildren; Lyndsay (Michael Lachman), Annie, Lottie and Noa. She is fondly remembered by her siblings, many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
Shiva and Shiva Visitations was held in Vancouver, BC.
