Sad News – Joan Fader z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of Temple Sholom member Joan Fader z”l, on Sunday February 26, 2023.

We send our heartfelt condolences to her husband, Stephen Fader; children, Jennifer Fader (Ben Miner), and Jonathan Fader (Jo Jin); grandchildren, Kirby and Leto; and siblings, David Segal and Dalia Orlev and their families.

The funeral service will take place on Tuesday February 28 at 1:00 pm at Temple Sholom synagogue (7190 Oak St, Vancouver), followed by interment at Temple Sholom cemetery (14965-28th Ave., White Rock/South Surrey, BC). The family will gather back at Temple Sholom immediately following the burial.

Shiva minyan will be held on Wednesday March 1 at 7:00 pm at the home of Iris and Philip Dayson (2607 West 34th Avenue, Vancouver).
