Sad News – Howard Gerber z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Beth Israel member Howard Gerber, z’l. Howard was predeceased by his wife Phyllis, z’l, son, Martin, z’l, and his brother Jerry.

Our heartfelt condolences to Howard’s daughter Robyn, grandchildren Jawnell (Bryn), Cale (Glennie), and Noah, great-grandchildren Charlotte and Natalie, and his longtime companion Gloria.

We are also thinking of his sister Elaine (Ralph), nieces Reisa (Jeff), Marcy (Larry), Sharon (Rob) and Gail (Jon), and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Norman and Bev Wolk, and nephews Jack, Shawn, and Martin (Melodie), Mark (Carol), Sidney (Carol), and Bob (Maggie).

He is also survived by several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 1:30 pm at the Beth Israel Cemetery (1721 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby)

A meal of condolence, with the opportunity to share memories of Howard, will be held at the home of Reisa Schwartzman & Jeff Ross in Vancouver.
