Sad News – Gertrude (Trudy) Stein z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Gertrude (Trudy) Stein, z’l, grandmother of Beth Israel’s Rabbi Adam Stein.

Our heartfelt condolences to Rabbi Stein, Tamar, Eli and Gabriel, as well as to Rabbi Stein’s father Elliot (Karen), and sister Katie (Dave). We also send our sincere sympathies to their extended family: Trudy’s sister, four children and their spouses, ten grandchildren and their spouses, and twelve great grandchildren.

The funeral and shiva will be held later this week in the Los Angeles area.
