Sad News – Eva Kero z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of Temple Sholom member Eva Kero, on December 13, 2018, at the age of 84.
Eva was born in Budapest, Hungary on August 1, 1934. While there, she survived the German invasion in 1944 and later fled to Austria during the Hungarian Revolution. Eva later moved to Brazil, before settling in Canada where she enjoyed a career as both an artist and a devoted public school teacher for 35 years.
Eva was predeceased by her beloved husband, Melvin, in 1998.
The funeral will take place on Sunday, December 16, 2018, at 10:00 am at the Temple Sholom Cemetery (14965 – 28th Ave., White Rock, BC). Reception to follow in White Rock (further details to be provided at the funeral).
