Sad News – Eric Sydney Shipman z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of Temple Sholom member Eric Sydney Shipman z”l, on Saturday July 8, 2023.

We send our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Sylvie “Nini” Rostoker-Shipman; children, Talia Shipman-Englander (Adam Englander) and Noah Shipman (Chelsea Hermanson); grandchildren, Sadie Shipman and Element Englander; siblings, Esther Shipman and Lorne Shipman, his nieces and nephews, and the entire family.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday July 12, 2023 at 10:30 am at the Temple Sholom Cemetery (14965-28th Ave., White Rock/South Surrey, BC).

Following the graveside service there will be a reception and meal of condolence at Temple Sholom (7190 Oak Street, Vancouver, BC), beginning at approximately 12:00 pm.

Shiva observance and memory sharing will be held on Thursday July 13 at 7:00 pm at Temple Sholom (7190 Oak Street, Vancouver, BC).
