Sad News – Emerson Stoyka Kay z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of Emerson Stoyka Kay, granddaughter of Temple Sholom member Alan Kay and niece of members Karen and Harold Rose. Emerson passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at the age of 17.

Emerson was the beloved daughter of David Kay and Kristen Stoyka, and sister of Kieran and Sage Stoyka Kaye. She will be missed each and every day by her extended family on both sides: Grandma Lynda (Quentin), Grandpa “Kay” (predeceased by Inga), Uncle Andy (Susan), Auntie Julie, Aunt Karen (Harold), Uncle Larren, Uncle Peter (Leasa), and Deb (predeceased by Uncle Rob). Cousins, great-aunts and uncles and the rest of the extended family will cherish the memories they made with her.

The funeral will be held in Toronto on Saturday February 9, 2019.

We send our most heartfelt condolences to Alan, Karen & Harold and their children, Michael and Jonah, and the entire family.
