Sad News – Elliott Hastings Leyton z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Elliott Hastings Leyton, brother in law of Schara Tzedeck and Beth Israel member Gary Averbach, on February 14, 2022 in St. Johns, Newfoundland at the age of 82.

We send our heartfelt condolences to his wife of over 62 years, Bonnie, his two sons, Marco (Katie) of Montreal, QC and Jack (Val) of Peterborough, ON, grandson Mark of Ottawa, great granddaughters, Charlie and Callie-Ann, his brother Bryan (Carol), and their entire extended family.

The funeral was held on Friday, February 18, 2022, at 10:00 am PST at the Schara Tzedeck Cemetery (2345 Marine Drive, New Westminster, BC).
