Sad News – Edward Allan Seidman (Allan) z’l

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Allan Seidman (Allan), originally of Montreal, Quebec, father of Temple Sholom member Heidi Seidman.

Allan died peacefully, at home in Toronto, on April 7, 2018, after a long battle with multiple sclerosis and diabetes.

A devoted husband, loving father, son, brother, grandfather and uncle, Allan was born on October 11, 1945 to Joe z”l and Shirlee (Fishman) Seidman.

He is survived and lovingly remembered by his mother, Shirlee Seidman, his devoted wife, Fern Seidman, his children, Leonard Seidman (Kimberly Rothenberg), Heidi Seidman (Jonathan Barnett), Mitchell Cordes, Darrell Cordes (Anat Chetrit), his brother, Peter Seidman (Carol Simand), his sister, Joy Seidman (Daniel Kucer), and his ten loving grandchildren, Alexandra, Mikayla, Tanner, Sydney, Joseph, Keira, Madison, Liam, Noah and Hannah. He will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews, Joel, Jean and Mark, Dayna, Troy and Josh, Sarena and Josh, Michael, Jeff, and Lauren.

Funeral service will be held today, April 9 at 11:30 a.m. at the Steeles Memorial Chapel in Toronto. Burial at the Pardes Chaim Cemetery in Toronto.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Heidi, her husband Jonathan Barnett, their children, Tanner and Madison, and all of Allan’s family and friends.
