Sad News – Dr. Sidney Kaplan z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of Dr. Sidney Kaplan, father of Temple Sholom member Bill Kaplan, on December 13, 2018 at the age of 101.

The funeral will take place on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Schara Tzedeck Cemetery, 2345 Marine Drive, New Westminster. Shivah details will be announced at the funeral.

We offer our heartfelt condolences to his wife Shirley Kaplan, his children, Bill (Etti) Kaplan, Lynn Catzman, Rabbi Tuvia (Janice) Kaplan, Rabbi Boruch (Rikki) Kaplan, his 20 grandchildren, his many great-grandchildren and his nieces and nephews, who were so close to him.
