Sad News – Carol Marks z’l
It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of Temple Sholom member, Carol Marks z”l on Friday, January 5, 2024.
Carol was predeceased by her parents Meyer and Ruby Aronin z”l and her first husband, Robert Arnstein (z’l 1975) and second husband Leonard Marks (z’l 2001).
We send out heartfelt condolences to her brother, Edward Aronin and his daughter Alicia Aronin from Los Angeles, children, Alan Arnstein, Mark Arnstein (Sara), Danna Marks (William), Jill Shore (Jason) and grandchildren, Mikayla, Eli, Ryan, Jake and Maya Arnstein, Barbie, Adam and David Clark and Amy and Lauren Shore.
The funeral service will take place on Monday, January 8 at 10:00 am at the Temple Sholom Synagogue (7190 Oak Street) and will be followed by interment at the Temple Sholom Cemetery (14965 – 28th Ave., White Rock/South Surrey, BC).
The family will gather at the home of William Clark & Danna Marks in Vancouver on Monday at approximately 12:30 pm following the interment.
Shiva services will be held at William & Danna’s home on Monday (1/8) at 3:30 pm and on Tuesday (1/9), and Wednesday (1/10), at 7:30 pm.
