Sad News – Bette Thompson z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Or Shalom member Bette Thompson z”l (Elisheva Me’ira bat Avraham v’Sarah) on February 8, 2022.

Bette was predeceased by her brother, William Thompson z”l, and will be mourned by her sister, Patricia Davis. She was also predeceased by her son, Brooke Hakari Thompson z”l. Bette’s surviving daughter, Meredith Kim Reretai Thompson, currently lives in Lebanon.

She will also be remembered by her nephews, David Thompson and Richard Thompson, nieces Amanda Davis and Paula Davis, and her great-nephews and nieces, Kingsley and Madison Thompson, and Tyler and Paige Dixon.

Bette will be interred in the public lawn cemetery in Kaitaia.
