Sad News – Bernice (Bossy) Milner z’l

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bernice (Bossy) Milner of Edmonton Alberta, loving mother and mother in law to Randy and Cheryl Milner and devoted grandmother to Daniel and Anna. She also leaves her husband of over 60 years Samson (Sparkie) and eldest son, Marty, both of Edmonton as well as sisters Marion Rothstein (Spokane), Clarice Switzer (Edmonton) and twin Eleanor Flaxman (Winnipeg).

Our Bossy passed away in hospital on April 16, 2018 at the age of 86. She was buried in the Edmonton Jewish Cemetary the following day.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She was also a friend to many and was deeply committed to the State of Israel and the work of Pioneer Women/Na’amat.

With a lightness of heart, she lived a full life, a life dedicated to her family, friends and community. She was a true aishet chayel and will be sorely missed by those who knew her.

The last evening of shiva will be observed in Vancouver on Sunday, April 22 at 7:15 pm at the home of Randy and Cheryl Milner – 2475 West 10th Avenue.
