Sad News – Annette Krygier z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Annette Krygier, mother of Temple Sholom members Shirley Hyman (Aubrey) and Carol Hollander, on May 17, 2020.

Annette was predeceased by her husband, Leon Krygier z”l, her brothers, Albert Groner z”l, and Jack Groner z”l (Jean), and her sisters, Rosa Dudelzak z”l (Shulem) and Helene Weiss z”l (Albert z”l). She is survived by her brother, Charles Groner (Terry), and her sister, Theresa Tucker (Lionel), both of Calgary, Alberta.

Annette was the beloved mother of Shirley Hyman (Aubrey), Carol Hollander, Marilyn Bercovich (Marvin), and Wayne Krygier (Orly). She was the proud Baba of Tali Zelkowicz (Benny), Mia Hyman (Ross Crowell), Sam Hyman (Jenny), Joshua Krygier (Katy), Lisa Hunt (J), Carly Krygier, Jonathan Hollander (Alice Hammond), Elan Hollander, and Aaron Bercovich. She was the adoring great-Baba to Gavriel and Asher Zelkowicz, Jonah Crowell, Mila and Zachary Hyman, Reid and Elliana Krygier, Blayke Krygier, and Sophia, Peyton, Hudson and Maddon Hunt. And loved by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and points between and apart.

A private funeral will take place in Calgary, Alberta this week.
