Sad News – Anne Chesick z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing this morning of Or Shalom member, Anne Chesick z”l (Channah bat Blumeh v’Hersh Tzvi haLevi), mother to members Robbie Chesick (Yoni Gordis) and Alan Chesick and to their sister Leslie Chesick.

Anne was predeceased by her husband, Sydney z”l and by her brother, Ruby Bloom z”l.

We send our sincere condolences to her children, Alan, Leslie, Robbie, and Yoni, her grandchildren, Rakeea and Melila, her brother, Hy Bloom, and their entire family and friends.

The funeral service took place tomorrow, Friday July 7, 2023, at 11:00 am PT at the Schara Tzedeck Cemetery in New Westminster. It can be viewed remotely at www.cemeteryboard.com.

Shiva minyanim and visits will take place at Robbie & Yoni’s home in Vancouver per the following:

      Friday July 7 – shiva visits after the burial, until 3 pm

      Sunday July 9 – shiva visits 10 am – noon; shiva minyan and visitation 7-9 pm

      Monday July 10 – shiva minyan and visitation 7-9 pm

      Thursday July 13 – rising from shiva with a walk around the block at 9 am
