Sad News – Alan Kay z’l
It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Temple Sholom member Alan Kay, father of member Karen Rose (Harold), on April 22, 2020 at the age of 96.
Alan is remembered by his children, David Kay (Kristen), Karen Rose (Harold), Peter Kay (Leasa), Andrew Kay (Susan), and Robert (z’l) (Deb), his sister, Valorie Pegg, nephews and nieces, Jake, Sophie, and Jonathan Winner (Linda), as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Emerson (z’l), Kieran, Sage, Michael, Jonah, Steven, Ben, Mikyla, James, Daryl, Tara Nesbitt (Steve), AJ Kay (Jamie McBride), and Zoe.
He was predeceased by his wife, Inga Kay, in 2009.
A private funeral will be held today, Friday, April 24, 2020.
A public Shiva Minyan will be held on Monday April 27, 2020 at 7:00 pm PST via Zoom.
