Lurii Lakren z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Iurii Iakren, father of Temple Sholom member Irena Altshuler, on October 16, 2018.

Iurii was predeceased by his wife, Raisa, his parents Eliyahu and Sarah, and siblings Maria and Moshe.

He is survived by his children Irena (Michael), Valeriy (Lena), grandchildren Natalie (Todd), Ilana (Aaron) and Arkadi, and great-grandchildren Jacob, Ariella and Sophia.

Graveside funeral services will be held at the Temple Sholom Cemetery (14965 – 28th Ave., Surrey, BC) tomorrow, October 18, 2018, at 11:30 am.

Shiva will be held at the home of Irena and Michael Altshuler in Richmond on Sunday October 21, 2018 at 4:30 pm.

We extend our sincere condolences to Iurii’s entire family and friends.
