It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Daniel U. Pekarsky z”l, husband of our member Trudy Pekarsky.

Our heartfelt condolences to his children Lise (Andy Kubot), Josh (Marla Guralnick), and Adam (Sonia Heroux); grandchildren Jack, Chloe, Ella, Samuel and Jacob Pekarsky, and nephews Jason and Matt (Tami) Cairns.

The funeral will be held on Friday May 8, 2026 at 2:00pm at the Beth Israel cemetery located at 1711 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby.

Shiva will be held on Sunday (May 10), Monday (May 11) and Tuesday (May 12) evening at 7:00pm at Josh and Marla’s home in Vancouver.
