The Okanagan’s very first and only Mikvah!

Water Changes Everything!

Human life cannot exist without water. For thousands of years, civilizations survived and were built around banks of fresh water: rivers, lakes, and springs. Without water, there is no life.

Jewish life cannot exist without the water of a Mikvah. Mikvahs are key to creating growing Jewish homes and a vibrant Jewish future. Yet, across North America, there are small Jewish communities living without access to this source of life.

Please contribute to help build a Mikvah in the wilderness!

For ten years now, my wife Fraidy and I, along with our children have been blessed to be of service to the Jewish people living throughout the Okanagan with dedication and love.

Person by person, door to door, uplifting our people, touching souls, and bringing the warmth and joy of Yiddishkeit TO LIFE in Kelowna and throughout the Okanagan!

After driving 5 hours each direction on dangerous roads and weather conditions or flying with many women over the last ten years to bring them to a Mikvah, the time has come to build a Mikvah of our own.

On Sunday, January 31st 2021, the exciting Bring Mikvah Home campaign that partners with six other small Jewish communities to raise $1,500,000 to build SEVEN Mikvahs across North America.

Today you can partake in this beautiful Mitzvah of Jewish purity and tradition, with the spiritual dividends lasting for eternity!

Please help our Kelowna community make the Okanagan’s very first Mikvah.

To discuss further partnership methods, to dedicate and name the Mikvah or different rooms, and any other dedication opportunities please call Rabbi Hecht at 250.575.5384 or email Rabbi@JewishOkanagan.com.

Thank you for your generosity and may G-d Almighty bless you with all of His infinite goodness in abundance!
