It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Viva Goldblatt, OBM Mother of Laura Zitron (Ron).

The funeral will take place tomorrow Tuesday, February 17th, 2026, at 2 PM at the Schara Tzedeck Cemetery, 2345 Marine Drive, New Westminster.

Shiva will be at the home of Laura and Ron Zitron on Tuesday the 17th, following the funeral service, and on Thursday the 19th, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

In addition, a Shiva Minyan will be held at Laura and Ron’s home in Burnaby on Tuesday the 17th at 5:30 pm.

If you are able to attend to help make the minyan, please let the family know.

Viva was predeceased by her husband, Normal Goldblatt z”l and her son, Lionel Goldblatt z”l.

We send our heartfelt condolences to her children, Laura (Ron), and Raymond Goldblatt (Abby), to her grandchildren: Mikaela, Danielle (Erick), Arieh-Lev, Ariella (Ryan), Evan (Adina), Zach (Claudia) and to her great grandchildren: Asher and Estie.

We would like to extend our most heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased on their loss.
