It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Tom Szekely z”l, a Hungarian Holocaust child survivor, beloved husband of Janice Masur, father of Michael Szekely, and step-father of Liora Freedman.

 

Our heartfelt condolences to Janice, Michael and Liora.

 

The funeral will be private for the family.

 

There will be a Shiva minyan in conjunction with the regular 6 pm mincha minyan at Beth Israel on Tuesday. Friends and community are welcome to attend and support Tom’s family.

 

Donations in Tom’s memory may be made to the Holocaust Centre, L’Chaim, or the Parkinson Society.
