It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Terry Audrey Bensimon (nee Chercover) z”l, who passed away peacefully at the age of 86.

Terry was a notable fixture in the Vancouver Jewish community, Alongside her husband Dr. Joseph Bensimon (z”l), until making Aliyah in 1993. She took great pride in Bensimon family philanthropic endeavours at home and abroad. During their 60 year marriage, Terry and Joe travelled the world together, filling their lives with unique cultural experiences and beautiful artwork.

We offer our heartfelt condolences to her children, Jack (Shawn), David (Ying), Lia, Simone (Michael) Spiegel, and Sari (Brian) Klaff; her nine cherished grandchildren: Yomi, Daniella, Talia, Zoe, Nicole, Theodore, Piper, Bentley, and Breitling; her surviving siblings Cheryl and Dan (Nancy); and many family and friends in Vancouver and across the world who fondly remember her warmth and grace.

Terry was buried on Har HaMenuchot in Jerusalem. May her memory be for a blessing. B’smachot, may we only share B’sorot Tovot.
