Sad News – Sylvia Lenore Polsky z’l
It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of Sylvia Lenore Polsky (nee Chernoff) z”l on September 18, 2023 at the age of 94, sister of Beth Israel member, Yale Chernoff (Sandy).
We send our heartfelt condolences to her brother, Yale Chernoff (Sandy), daughters, Bev Polsky, Mara Kline (Ivan Zendel), and Jude Polsky, son-in-law, Rick Kline (Ruhama Benavot), grandchildren, Jesse Kline (Alissa), Eli Kline (Johana Camargo Monroy), Ari Kline, and Alana Hornby (Dan Perez Valencia), and to her great-grandchildren, Alexander and Phoebe Kline.
The funeral will be held tomorrow, Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the Temple Sholom Cemetery (14965 – 28th Ave., White Rock/South Surrey, BC).
The service will not be livestreamed.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 1:30 – 4:00 pm at The Legacy Senior Living Residence (611 W 41st, Vancouver, BC).
Shiva will be held in Calgary on Thursday September 28, 2023 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the home of Mara Kline in Calgary, AB.
