It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Sarah (Socky) Cohen z”l, mother of Schara Tzedeck member Leslie Cohen, on May 6, 2024 in Cape Town, South Africa.

We send our sincere condolences to her children, Leslie Cohen (Larraine), Gary Cohen (Janet), and Karen Lurie (Stan), her grandchildren, Adam, Danielle, Talia, Matthew, Greg, Micaela and Avi, and to the rest of her family.

The funeral was held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 in Cape Town. Shiva will also be held in Cape Town.
