It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Samuel Wayne Bobroff z”l, brother of Temple Sholom member Leonard Bobroff, on Monday, May 12, 2025, in Calgary, AB.

 

Wayne was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Kerstin, son, Gershon (Katherine), parents, Max and Ida, and his brother, Arnold (z”l).

 

We send our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Pearl, daughter, Anna (Kevin), stepchildren, Jacqui (Jon) and Lisa (Mike), brother, Leonard (Sandra), grandchildren, Rachel (Micah), Sarah, Jack, and James, great-grandson, Shepherd, and to his entire family and friends.

 

A funeral service was held at the Beth Tzedec Synagogue in Calgary, AB on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

 

Shiva will be observed at Beth Tzedec on Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday at 6:00 pm MDT.

 

Memorial tributes may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society.
