Sad News – Peter Tuan z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Temple Sholom member Peter Tuan this morning, November 15, 2019.

We send our heartfelt condolences to Pete’s wife, Laura Tuan, his daughters, Alexis and Jordana Tuan, his mother, Gloria O’Hara, sister, Susan Wells, brother-in-law, Sami Kahya, and all of his many family members and friends that have been such a support.

The funeral will be held on Sunday November 17, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Schara Tzedeck Cemetery (2345 Marine Drive, New Westminster, BC). A reception will follow at Temple Sholom Synagogue (7190 Oak St, Vancouver, BC) at 3:30 pm.

Shiva will take place at Temple Sholom on Sunday November 17, 2019 at 5:30 pm, followed by a karaoke party in Pete’s memory, as per his wishes. The family requests that Pete’s friends bring food and beverages along with your singing voices for this celebration of his life.

Shiva will also be held on Monday November 18 and Tuesday November 19 at 7:30 pm at the home of Sandra & Norman Miller in Vancouver.
